Get into the act! Build your confidence! This summer MacGuffin will be producing the hit musical, Mean Girls with lyrics by Nell Benjamin, music by Jeff Richmond, and book by Tina Fey.
A fabulously fun award-winning musical based on the adored movie, Mean Girls. Cady Heron may have grown up on an African savanna, but nothing prepared her for the vicious ways of her strange new home: suburban Illinois. Soon, this naïve newbie falls prey to a trio of lionized frenemies led by the charming but ruthless Regina George.
It will be directed by John Rea with choreography by Tina Lynch. Put your acting skills into play and learn how to stretch to new levels. Training in acting, singing and dancing while working on a musical. This experience will strive to expand everything you know about theatre and prepare you for an exciting and creative future as an actor.
Here’s how it will work:
1. Sign up for camp! Click the button below.
2. In May we will announce the audition songs.
3. Practice and memorize your audition song.
4. On Day 1 everyone in the camp will audition for John Rea and choreographer, Tina Lynch.
5. The cast is announced. Rehearsals begin. The schedule is below.
6. Perform the musical on July 10 & 11 at 7 pm.

FINE PRINT
– Tuition is fully refundable up until 14 days before camp begins. From 14 days to 1 day before camp begins we will issue a 50% refund. No refunds after camp begins at 9:30am on the 1st day of camp.
