Get Ready for Game Night Feuding! Study up!

On Sunday, April 12, 2026 MacGuffin will host its 2nd Game Night Fundraiser from 4:30-7:30pm.  MacGuffin students are FREE and for adults and friends it’s $10 for admission. Register here. Below are the fun MacGuffin facts that will be asked about during our Actors Feud. These won’t be the only subjects for the trivia but anything MacGuffin is fair game. Study up and win for your team.

  2. Our last three fall musicals are More Than Anything, Nightmare and Sorceress
  3. The Mechanicals Acting Troupe takes its name from Shakespeare’s play A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
  4. Clueless was the 1st movie MacGuffin ever produced
  5. More Than Anything is the only musical MacGuffin has produced as a stage show and a full length movie
  6. Our seniors this year are: Pria Lipkin, Elijah Teel, Meital Frankel, Zoe Palmer, Alice Allsopp, Olivia McKenna, Ari Eisenstadt and Alex Jacoby
  7. The Swing seats 85 people
  8. 2nd Stage seats 60 people
  9. Rick Fredette built the rear wall.
  10. The purple carpets on the wall are used for soundproofing.
  11. MacGuffin will be 28 years old on June 1
  12. Helium is the name of the comedy club across the street from us.
  13. Rock and Troll is the name of the youth production class this Spring.
  14. Lin Manuel Miranda wrote ‘My Shot’ from Hamilton
  15. The Great Fruit Escape Part 2 is a sequel to The Great Fruit Escape and was produced for the 1st time last fall.

  3. The color of the clock in the Green Room is purple.
  4. “We grow actors” is MacGuffin’s tag tine/slogan
  5. Our fall and winter class sessions have 8 classes. Our spring session has 5 classes.
  6. Our After School Program is currently in production for Seussical.

  12. The two portraits on the wall backstage in the Swing are from MacGuffin’s production of The World Goes ‘Round.
  13. Jen’s husband is named Brandon. John’s wife is named Stacey-Kyle.
  14. John, Jen, Tina and Taylor all received their Master of Arts from Villanova University.
  15. The giant elevator in the back of the Swing was used to raise cars up and down because the Adrienne used to be a car dealership.

  19. Taylor Backes is the name of the glass blowers who make our Shakespeare Award.
  20. Alice Allsopp was the first senior to be interviewed on The MacGuffin Experience. Isaac Trooskin was the 1st youth actor to appear on The MacGuffin Experience
  21. MacGuffin’s 2 primary colors are purple and green
  22. The Ice Box houses MacGuffin’s costumes and props.
  23. MacGuffin uses LED lights for its theatre lighting
  24. The theatre company downstairs in Mainstage is named Side Quest
  25. Before MacGuffin resided at the Adrienne it held its classes and productions in Friends Select School.
