Seussical the Musical, book and lyrics by Lynn Ahrens, music by Stephen Flaherty

This summer MacGuffin is doing something NEW and exciting. Instead of 3 productions for 3 different age groups we’re going to do 2 productions with ALL the age groups. The 2 shows will be the Tony Award winning hit rock musical Xanadu and Ahrens and Flaherty’s Dr. Seuss show, Seussical. Artistic Director, John Rea and Associate Artistic Director, Liz Fredette will each direct one of the musicals. Put your acting skills into play and learn how to stretch to new levels. Training in acting, singing and dancing while working on a musical.   This experience will strive to expand everything you know about theatre and prepare you for an exciting and creative future as an actor.

Here’s how it will work:
1. Sign up for camp! Click the button below.
2. In May we will announce the audition songs.
3. Practice and memorize your audition song.
4. On Day 1 everyone in the camp will audition for John Rea and Liz Fredette. John and Liz will then choose the musical in which you will be cast.
5. Rehearsals begin. The schedule is below.
6. Perform the musicals on July 13-15.
