Musical Theatre Prep featuring the Summer Musical

Get your act together. Sharpen your acting, singing and dancing skills. This class will feature the audition songs for our Musical Theatre Camp's summer production announced on December 1, 2026. Dive into the roles and bring your characters to life. This is a great class for anyone with a passion for musical theatre, but especially for those interested in our summer musical theatre camp.

Ready to improve your auditions? Ready to learn how to stand out? Get the training you need to build your confidence and get that lead role you're aiming for. Learn how to prepare your monologue or song. We'll help you stage it for maximum effect. This is a great class for actors who want to perform at our Open Mic Nights or to get ready for our mainstage auditions.
Comedy Improv
Two Time Options: 1-2 PM AND 2-3pm

Making people laugh is one of the great joys in life. Get your funny on while you learn to create comedy on the spot, using simple suggestions and your own top-of-your-head responses. Comedy and the ability to bring humor to a situation serves you in every aspect of your life. We have a long tradition of creating comedy improv at MacGuffin, with our expert comedians performing in This Side Up Comedy Improv Troupe. This class is a perfect first step in learning how to work with partners, make up wacky jokes and characters, and test your limits…all while having a great time! If you like the tv show Whose Line is it Anyway, you can’t miss this class!

Explore the scenes and songs from Broadway's hit musical, Dear Evan Hansen. Perform 'Waving Through a Window', 'You Will Be Found' and more. Get your arms, legs, and voice in sync. This class will get you moving with your fellow actors and having a great time. Strengthen your confidence and musical theatre presence. Learn to project your voice, take your dance moves to the next level, and interpret these fantastic songs as only you can.
