Musical Theatre Prep featuring Disney's Descendants

Get your act together. Sharpen your acting, singing and dancing skills. This class will feature the audition songs for our Musical Theatre Camp's production of Disney's Descendants this summer. Dive into the roles and bring your characters to life. This is a great class for anyone with a passion for musical theatre, but especially for those interested in our summer musical theatre camp.
5 Master Classes

On the heels of last season's hit master classes is a sequel taught by professional Philadelphia and New York actors and directors. Each week a master class will focus on valuable acting, choreography and vocal techniques aimed at helping you become the best actor you can be. Topics include: Tap Dance, Staged Reading Technique, Creating Comedy, Lighting Design and Playwriting. This class is not to be missed by serious actors.
Comedy Improv
Two Time Options: 1-2 PM AND 2-3pm

Making people laugh is one of the great joys in life. Get your funny on while you learn to create comedy on the spot, using simple suggestions and your own top-of-your-head responses. Comedy and the ability to bring humor to a situation serves you in every aspect of your life. We have a long tradition of creating comedy improv at MacGuffin, with our expert comedians performing in This Side Up Comedy Improv Troupe. This class is a perfect first step in learning how to work with partners, make up wacky jokes and characters, and test your limits…all while having a great time! If you like the tv show Whose Line is it Anyway, you can’t miss this class!

It's "five for all forever!" Become one of the March sisters and Laurie, their next door neighbor. Jump into exploring the hit musical, Little Women , with lyrics by Mindi Dickstein and music by Jason Howland. Get your arms, legs, and voice in sync. This class will get you moving with your fellow actors and having a great time. Strengthen your confidence and musical theatre presence. Learn to project your voice, take your dance moves to the next level, and interpret these fantastic songs as only you can.
